05.01.2012- Versace for H&M Cruise 2012

Thursday, 5 January 2012

Although Versace's first collection for H&M induced a manic flurry of would-be purchasers camping outside stores to get their hands of some of Donatella's designs, the majority of feedback I heard on the pieces wasn't all that positive. Apart from one or two standout pieces, the range was a tad OTT for most people, and seemed pretty tricky to wear unless you were tanned, tall and tremendously confident. Never fear, however, as round two of the collaboration comes in the shape of a capsule cruise collection, available exclusively online from January 19th:

This range seems a lot more wearable- perfect if you're jetting off somewhere sunny this summer. The only thing which slightly puts me off is how airbrushed Abbey Lee Kershaw looks in these shots, especially after H&M recently admitted to using models with computer-generated bodies on their website!

What do you think of Versace's new collection for H&M?

  1. Think I prefer this to the first lot! I went to the press day, loved the flat pumps too xxx

  2. This is so much nicer than the first collection! So confused by the 'virtual model' thing with H&M, how do we know they aren't making their clothes look better than they actually are too??

  3. I'd happily wear any of these dresses!
