08.03.2012- The Retrosphere

Thursday, 8 March 2012

I love going shopping for vintage pieces, but it can often be really tricky to find the retro diamonds in the rough when you're confronted with a mountain of clothes to sift through. Whilst rummaging through rail after rail is part of the charm of the vintage shopping experience, it can be really disheartening when you expend so much energy searching for that perfect piece only to come away empty handed (something which has happened to me a lot recently!) Step forward, The Retrosphere. Established late last year, The Retrosphere is the perfect online solution to all your vintage shopping dilemmas. They do all the hard work, so you don't have to, selecting the best vintage pieces they can get their hands on, all of which are tailored to each season's key trends. They have an amazing selection of one-of-a-kind products at prices which won't break the bank, and also stock an array of designer treasures which are the perfect investment items. Unlike a lot of other vintage retailers, they also offer a variety of high-end inspired services, such as style advice and trend reports- ideal if you're tentatively making your first foray into the world of vintage. Here's a little selection of my favourite pieces from their online shop:
Clockwise, from left: Pink Floral Scarf, £30, Fine Cream Top, £30

So, whether you're a hippy at heart, a rebellious rocker or just want to incorporate a touch of vintage style into your wardrobe without the stress of fighting your way through pile after pile of pieces that are likely to have seen better days, then be sure to check out The Retrosphere for a really diverse and beautifully curated selection of products (which is updated every week!) I'm already contemplating making my first purchase!

Do you like this idea? And which pieces are your favourites?
