15.04.2016- On the Menu: Shackfuyu

Friday, 15 April 2016

In my book, there are few things in life as lovely as catching up with friends over some good grub. I never need an excuse to be tempted to try somewhere different to eat, but Michelle's homecoming (and birthday!) a little while ago provided the perfect opportunity to get together with the gang for some long overdue catching up- and Shackfuyu provided the perfect setting:

Offering a Japanese take on Western cuisine, the menu at Shackfuyu is full to the brim with lots of tantalizing treats, including prawn toast, tenderstem broccoli, korean fried wings and iberico pork. We ordered plenty to share, and part of tjhe fun of the visit was dishing up between us and all waxing lyrical about how delicious each and every plate was- although we definitely could have ordered more (those chicken wings are ultra addictive!) Dessert wise, we opted for kinako french toast and soft serve ice cream- the perfect way to finish off a truly lovely evening out!

Have you tried any new foodie favourites recently?
