Exploring new corners of the city is one of my favourite pastimes, and a couple of months ago - after brunching at Foxlow- the gang I and indulged in a leisurely (if rather chilly!) walk from Clerkenwell to Bermondsey, taking in Borough Market, Cross Bones and Maltby Street. Maltby Street Market has been on my list of places to visit for what feels like forever, so it was amazing to have the chance to explore on a leisurely Saturday afternoon- although I think we arrived at the busiest juncture of the day!
Tucked away under the railway arches on the lead up to London Bridge, Maltby Street Market offers selection after selection of street food to satisfy all tastes. With drinks a plenty on offer from Little Bird Gin, baked bounty from St.John and sweet treats in abundance from Waffle On amongst the highlights, it's a delectable destination which is well worth a visit, particularly if you want to sample a really eclectic array of flavours. Definitely one which I'll be revisiting soon!
