One of the best things about being a stone's throw away from London (in spite of Southern Rail!) is being able to discover new corners of the city more or less on a whim. After visiting Palm Vaults a few weeks ago, the ladies and I enjoyed a leisurely dander down to Broadway Market- a destination which had been on my 'to visit' list for an eternity. Well worth seeking out if you're in Hackney, it hosts fabulous food options in abundance, as well as lots of other stalls, offering everything from homeware to haberdashery:
As well as being a feast for the hungry, the market is also a feast for the eyes, with a riot of colour spilling into the streets every Saturday. As a flower fanatic, I was well and truly in my element= and it was wonderful to see so many independent stallholders doing a roaring trade. Whether you're looking for a different lunchtime option, are stocking up for the week ahead or just want to pop along to The Meringue Girls for a sweet treat, it's definitely one to check out!
Have you been to Broadway Market?
