28.12.2017- Beauty Buys: Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque

Thursday, 28 December 2017

Hello from Crimbo Limbo! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas Day and have spent the last few days safely ensconced in front of the television, whether glued to back to back films or binging on a box set or two (I've got The Crown and Game of Thrones waiting for me, hurrah!) As well as enjoying some much needed rest and relaxation, I've also made a point of having a good old (and long overdue) sort out, rummaging through my stash of old hair and beauty bits, clearing out anything which has gone beyond its shelf life and making space for some new favourites- one of which comes in the shape of a recent purchase from Aesop:

Aesop is one of those brands which I've always loved and I'm resolved to try more of their products in 2018- especially as they are cruelty free, and offer such a broad selection to target a whole host of different skincare concerns. As we near the end of the year, it's fair to say that my skin has definitely taken a fair old punishing of late, whether that be through repeated extremes of hot or cold, or my not drinking enough water (guilty as charged.) Being away from central London pollution over the last couple of days has already had a dramatic impact on my complexion, as has giving my skin a much needed break from makeup. With a little bit more time on my hands at the moment, I've also been deploying an army of facemasks- my current favourite of which is this Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque. Offering some much needed hydration for dry faces, this mask is formulated with grape seed and aloe vera to soothe and support sensitive skin, and is a fantastic investment for sensitive skin. I'm really noticing a different from using it so far, and the only trouble I'm having with it is trying not to use it every day!

Are you seeing out the year with any new beauty buys?
