25.11.2019- On the Menu: Palatino

Monday, 25 November 2019

A few weeks ago, in honour of Hannah’s birthday, the dream team decamped to Palatino for their Saturday lunch, with the promise of unlimited plates of pasta luring us out of our respective cosy corners and braving a rainy afternoon in London. Nestled in the heart of Clerkenwell, Palatino offers an array of dishes inspired by the flavours of Rome- and their Saturday lunch option is the perfect comforting selection for this time of the year. At £25 a head, it’s also really great value for money, with unlimited pasta dishes available from 12pm-5pm:

With four different dishes available, there’s something to satisfy every palette, and the kitchen can even create bespoke plates for any special dietary requirements. I loved the carbonara and the tonnarelli dishes, but everything we were served was delicious- so much so that we made two additional repeat orders. What was also really lovely about the Palatino experience was the leisurely mood of the restaurant- we never felt like we were being rush to finish our meal, and the quiet surroundings make it the perfect spot for catching up with your best pals.
